Washington DC Spring

These pictures were taken in the late afternoon sunlight so they are a bit dim, but the flowers are still fun to photograph.

Nice pic. Nature does embrace old values. 96 years ago, the Japanese first lady gave her American counterpart some pretty cherry trees, and the two countries have been trading flowers and bombs of friendship ever since.
You’re one of a million visitors in a beautiful but crazy two-week period. Being a delicate Shintoist who attempts to connect with nature, you may see Georgetown-DC drive turn into Bangkok traffic jam.
And if you wish to sit beneath the trees meditating your CHOP future with a group of 25, you must apply for a special permit but don’t get caught drinking ritual Shintoist’s Saka, you'll get handcuffed.
