It's been a while since I've signed in, but it's been a busy 6 months, so I'm just going to pick up from here. In short, since returning from Botswana, I've survived...an ob/gyn clerkship, 4 sub-internships in surgery and plastic surgery, including one at NYU and one at Johns Hopkins, and half of my residency interviews. Now I'm finally on vacation in Belgium visiting my parents- we're extremely busy celebrating the festivities with lots of holiday feasts, shopping, and television (all important pastimes to catch up with!).
